Using local files in Combined Analysis

Choose the coin and horizon, upload through Add folders & files desk, then run Analyse selected uploads + latest data. A newly uploaded document needs a new analysis. Saved refresh recalculates unchanged local XLSX/ODS sources; it does not re-read screenshots or update published documents.

Each file remains associated with its selected coin and horizon. Repeated identical files in that scope are counted once. No file independently authorises a Long or Short, changes verified trade prices, or supplies proof of current candle completion.

Formats

FormatSupported behaviour
XLSXWhitelisted formulas recalculated; no cached formula trust. Bounded implicit arrays and anchor# references supported. MM Rules uses the existing explicit nine-column schema.
ODSCells, repeated cells, direct internal references and the supported OpenFormula subset recalculate in the same engine. Source date cells remain ISO text; call DATEVALUE for an ISO date. Unsupported functions/names fail visibly.
XLS / XLSBSaved-value previews only. Formula caches cannot become executable rules, candle proof or price overrides. Export XLSX for rule calculation.
CSV / TSVCanonical labelled metrics or common explicit aliases, with all source metadata. Use JSON mapping below for other long/wide headers.
PDF / DOCX / ODT / RTF / EPUB / HTML / XML / textBounded text framework/risk context. EPUB follows only local spine chapters. No script, macro, external resource or arbitrary document instruction runs. Images/complex layout/revision history may need review.

Map your own CSV columns

  1. Download the example JSON.
  2. Replace its CSV string with your export. Set the actual delimiter.
  3. Map metadata columns to exact source headers. Supply explicit defaults only for metadata shared by all rows.
  4. For a wide export, declare each metric name, value column and unit. For a long export, omit metrics and map metric/value/unit columns.
  5. Use real source timestamps with timezone. The example numbers/time are examples, not current evidence.
  6. Upload the edited JSON and run a new analysis. Review row errors, source identity and conflicts before relying on a setup.

Required metadata: asset, exchange, market_type (spot/perpetual), timeframe (5m/15m/30m/1h/4h/1d), metric, value, unit, source_timestamp, source_reference. Empty units are permitted only when deliberately declared dimensionless. No missing timezone, unit or source identity is inferred. Maximum 2,000 resulting metric observations; wide exports can expand a source row into several observations.

Array calculations and references

For example, SEQUENCE(3) in A1 fills A1:A3 if the output area is empty. SUM(A1#) totals that array. Occupied cells and overlapping arrays produce an error; source values are not overwritten. Maximum 2,000 cells per array and 10,000 workbook cells. Internal INDIRECT supports A1, explicit names and R1C1; relative R1C1 uses the current formula cell. Named formula references remain absolute; ambiguous relative named definitions and external links are rejected.

Optional arguments

Omitted optional arguments are distinct from empty source cells. Examples: INDEX(A1:C3,,2) returns the second column; XLOOKUP(value,keys,results,,0) skips only its optional not-found output. A failed lookup still reports an error when that output is omitted. SEQUENCE(3,,12,) uses one column, start 12 and step 1. TAKE/DROP can skip one axis while the other is explicit; OFFSET can inherit an omitted height or width. Supported optional date/text/financial/search arguments use documented defaults. Missing required arguments, empty counts, unsupported functions and calculation limits still fail visibly. This does not infer missing uploaded readings or promote cached formula values into rules.

Dates and times

The workbook's 1900/1904 epoch is retained. DATEVALUE accepts ISO YYYY-MM-DD; TIMEVALUE accepts 24-hour HH:MM[:SS[.fraction]]. Locale-specific dates, currency text and AM/PM strings are not guessed. Business-day functions use Saturday/Sunday weekends and explicit optional holiday ranges. The fictitious 1900-02-29 is retained for source compatibility but rejected by calendar-based business-day operations. Calendar operations reject dates before the first supported workbook date; negative business-day offsets cannot wrap into a future century.

This is a finite supported subset, not all Excel functions. Unknown functions, unsupported syntax, external references and budget overruns remain visible errors. No macros/VBA, Python, plugins or data connections execute.

Limits and review

12 MB input; archive limits 32 MB expanded and 4,096 members. XLSX/ODS: 30 sheets, 10,000 cells, 3-second/100,000-step calculation budget. Legacy saved-value reader: 30 sheets, 10,000 rows, 100 columns, 10,000 nonempty cells and a 3-second budget. Text extraction retains at most 120,000 characters; EPUB at most 100 spine sections. Review flags and truncation remain visible. A software check does not establish trading profitability.
